若问国内最早的大范围接触这些MD官方游戏的渠道是什么？一定有很多人猜不到，是一个叫“裕兴电脑VCD”的东西。当时近2000元的售价对于一台VCD机而言实在太贵，但它的强势之处在于附带了几张游戏光盘，里面存储了400多个无重复游戏，画面远超当时国内普及度极高的山寨FC，相比999合一的山寨重复FC卡而言，“裕兴电脑VCD”是一台不可想象的神物。后来才知道，这级张光盘里的游戏其实是来自一种叫MD的游戏机。在一盘FC大黄卡还需100元的年代，400多个游戏只需2000元的价格使MD游戏迅速在国内普及开来。
